Prepare your journey
We are happy to share with you some important information about the transportation plan during the event as well as several maps to help your crew find their way around and follow your race.
Please use this information to avoid additional stress before the start of your race.
How to get to the start of your race
X-Alpine and Verbier X-Plore – Verbier
If you are not staying in Verbier, we advise you to take the gondola from Le Châble to Verbier, open from 5:15 to 23:50. More information here.
X-Traversée – La Fouly
shuttle operates between Verbier, Le Châble-gare and Orsières-gare.
WARNING, the road Orsières-La Fouly will be closed from 6:00 to 8:00 am on Saturday morning.
Crews and runners must therefore take the free shuttle from Orsières (scheduled every 10min). Signs will be put in place to help you find your way around.
Verbier-Marathon – Liddes
Shuttle operates between Verbier, Châble-gare and Orsières-gare.
You must reserve your place on the shuttle; to do so, log in to your runner’s account, the price is CHF 2.-
Your crew can also book their ticket for CHF 15.-.

– Drop bags
Our catering partner BTB will serve you a complimentary after you cross the finish line. Crews and spectators may also choose between 3 different menus. Non-stop opening from Saturday to Sunday.
Maps and transportation for crews
This map here allows your crew to follow you during the race in the best possible way. We strongly recommend that you use the shuttle and bus to get to Lourtier and the cable car to get to Verbier.
It is mandatory to take the shuttle (free of charge) for the following sections:
Orsières – La Fouly: Saturday from 06h00 to 08h00
La Barmasse – Cabane Brunet: Saturday from 08h00 to 22h00

Dear runners,
#TVSB is only 3 months away! We would like to share with you some useful information to help you find your way around.
Accommodation
You may find a list with of our recommended accommodation facilities in the region in the practical information section of our web site.
X-Alpine and Verbier X-Plore: if you are registered for one of these races, we suggest that you find an accommodation in Verbier or in the villages of Val de Bagnes.
X-Traversée and Verbier Marathon: if you are registered for one of these races, we advise to stay in Verbier or in the villages of Le Châble, Orsières and Pays du St-Bernard. Use our shuttles (the reservations will be possible from May on your runner file) to get to the start line and back to your accommodation after the race. Please don’t forget that if you are staying in Liddes or Bourg St Pierre, there is no shuttle service after the race.
A campsite (next to the Comba school) is available (about 10 tents) in Verbier. There is no electricity, no water and no reservation possible.
Campervans can park on the P4 parking lot in Le Châble, next to the St-Marc hall (race pack collection). Electricity and water are available, tokens can be collected at the tourist office.
Training camps
There are still a few spots left to join the #TVSB2022 training camps organized by Jules-Henri Gabioud, elite trail runner and mountain guide.
